Ralph Curtis - Lead Vocals & Lead Guitar
Ralph has lived and worked in central Kentucky most of his life. His musical roots began at age 5 listening to his mother strum an old Kay guitar and sing songs like "How Great Thou Art" and "Red River Valley." Ralph says that "I still have never heard a more sweeter sound than when my mother sang to me on the front porch swing." His professional career began at age 15 when he was invited by founder John Lair of the famous Renfro Valley Barn Dance in Mt. Vernon, Ky. to perform on the Saturday Night show. He received a standing ovation and was hooked on performing from that night on. Ralph has shared the stage with many Nashville artists and does a considerable amount of charity work for worthwhile organizations in addition to singing lead and playing lead guitar in 6 Feet High & Rising. Ralph is married, has four children and currently lives in Lexington, Ky.
Debbie Wilson - Lead Vocals - Harmony Vocals - Acoustic Guitar
Debbie began singing at a very early age in church and local appearances. As early as age 12 she traveled extensively, won talent contests and shared billing with such artists as Ernest Tubb, Jack Greene and Jeannie Sealy and many others. In 2008 she won Female Soloist of the Year Award in Southern Gospel Music presented to her at the Music City Gospel Showcase in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. She has wrote many songs and recorded many albums. She operates her own performance theater called Debbies Music Showhouse when she is not performing at the Woodford Jamboree. She is married, has three children and lives in Salt Lick, Kentucky. She also performs as June Carter Cash in the Johnny Cash Tribute Band. www.debbiewilsonmusic.com
Greg Underwood - Drums/Vocals
Greg is from Jenkins, Ky. is married and has two children.
Greg has shared the stage with many Nashville artists over the years. When he is not performing with 6 Feet High & Rising you will find him playing drums at his local church with his gospel band. Gregs consistency and tasteful drumming provides the back bone for the Johnny Cash "Boom-Chick-A-Boom" sound.
Bill Worrell - Bass Guitar/Vocals & Marketing Director
Bill is from Frankfort, Ky and is an accomplished guitarist. He has played Jazz, Rock N Roll and Country with various groups throughout the years. Bill has two degrees from Morehead State University and is also responsible for the groups booking engagements.
